This project was an in-class assignment. We were allotted two hours and forty-five minutes from the introduction of the project to the finished, mounted piece. The assignment was to illustrate one of the twelve Chinese zodiac signs. My birth year was the year of the rooster, so I chose to do a loose watercolor illustration paired with black ink to complete the line work of the rooster.
